“I have attended two Urban School of Evangelism mission trips along with our youth group. I am not a minister, however, I am the Chief Psychologist at a Federal Correctional Institution and have spent 15 years working with incarcerated men and women and I work with them daily on life issues that resulted in their incarceration. What I see the Oasis providing is a proactive approach to preventing people from coming to prison in the first place or in assisting with keeping them from re-offending once they are released from prison. In my line of work, I am afforded numerous “training” opportunities. None of them compared to the quality of the training that is provided by the staff at the Oasis.
